Lukas Bruhn wins the EMX85 North-West in Arnhem
Without a doubt, the Dutch had expected more from the fifth race in the European Championship 85cc North-West. Cas Valk and Ivano van Erp only scored once and the Belgian brothers Lucas and Sacha Coenen also had to be content with a supporting role. The match on the Arnhem circuit was won by Denmark thanks to Lukas Bruhn (3-1), Andreas Krogh-Jensen (2-2) and Nicolai Skovbjerg (1-4). The best Belgian is Lucas Coenen (8th), just ahead of Yamaha colleague Van Erp (9th).
The 14-year-old Bruhn is the first to qualify for the grand final on July 27-28 at the Loket circuit. Then the EMX85 title is forgiven. Both Belgium and the Netherlands will travel to the final with two drivers in this class; Lucas and Sacha Coenen on behalf of Belgium and Ivano van Erp and Cas Valk on behalf of the Netherlands.
