Motocross is a sport of trial and error, Ruben van de Laar has known since he was eleven. But on that fateful September Wednesday last year in Geldermalsen, I was no longer able to get up. "A bump, the jump and then the fall on my head." Van de Laar recalls the training accident. “I knew immediately that something was wrong. Couldn't move my feet, felt tingling in my neck. My father stood twenty feet away, watching. He saw from the position of my legs that it was not right."
