Cianciarulo makes it four on four!
Adam Cianciarulo made it four out of four in High Point! The American Pro Circuit Kawasaki pilot managed to claim his fourth AMA 250 National victory of the season with a second and a first place, out of four AMA Nationals!
In the first moto, Justin Cooper took the holeshot, ahead of his teammate Colt Nichols. But both Yamaha pilots were a quick bite for Hunter Lawrence who took the lead in the race and did not relinquish it. The Australian won the series easily ahead of Adam Cianciarulo, who managed to finish second after a very bad start. Another former Grand Prix pilot Dylan Ferrandis finished third!
In the second moto it was again a Yamaha that managed to take the holeshot! This time it was Colt Nichols' turn. However, he could not enjoy his lead for long as Adam Cianciarulo, who had started well, made short work of Colt Nichols. Chase Sexton on the Geico Honda machine knew he had to do the same if he wanted to stay anywhere close to AC92. The Honda pilot made quick work of Colt Nichols, but to no avail. Adam Cianciarulo was clearly stronger and rode comfortably to the series victory and the overall victory. This is for Chase Sexton and Hunter Lawrence. The Australian did not get around Colt Nicholls as easily as his rival Adam Cianciarulo and his teammate Chase Sexton, something that ultimately cost him a lot of time. Dylan Ferrandis finished fourth ahead of Colt Nichols
