MXGP: Julien Lieber breaks elbow
The Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team is in the thick of things. After Clément Desalle's injury, teammate Julien Lieber was also hit by a serious injury. The 25-year-old Belgian crashed hard in the first round of the German GP. Lieber broke his elbow.
In the second half of the race, Julien finished in a brilliant second place in Teutschenthal. In his serious crash, the Kawasaki factory rider injured his shoulder and broke his elbow. Lieber will undergo surgery tomorrow, but it remains to be seen how long he will be out. We wish Julien a speedy recovery.
