Wietse Brackman is doing golden business in MCLB-BK!
The third round of the Belgian championship in the MCLB federation was held in Oostrozebebeke this weekend. Due to the absence of the leader in the Belgian championship David Segers, who was ill, Wietse Brackman was able to do golden business in the rankings!
Of course, you didn't have to say this twice to the Leon Sagaert by Xavier Beel Husqvarna pilot. In the first heat he defeated Torpjurn Van Hoe in a duel that lasted many laps. Torpjurn Van Hoe, riding Vandevelde Racing – Dirk Tanghe Honda, in turn stayed ahead of Gilles Tack, Robin Bakens and Mattis Meersschout.
In the second moto, Torpjurn Van Hoe, who had taken the lead, quickly fell back, allowing Wietse Brackman to take the victory efficiently. In this second round he beat Mattis Meersschout and a strong driving Robin Bakens! He therefore contested a match in the backyard of one of his sponsors, namely Meor Mercedes from Oostrozebeke. This trio remained Torpjurn Van Hoe and Gilles Tack. (Text continues after photo: Robin Bakens)
In the overall standings, Wacko Bracko achieved the full 50 points! Torpjurn Van Hoe was second on the podium with 40 points, and third place went to Mattis Meersschout with 38 points. Wietse Brackman has now collected 135 points in the past three races, giving him a lead for the MCLB Belgian championship in the Inters 500 class of 31 points, over closest pursuer Torpjurn Van Hoe. Mattis Meersschout follows with thirty-three points. (Text continues after photo: Tim Vandriessche)
In the 250 class we saw Tim Vandriessche (photo) take the victory, he showed himself to be stronger than Henson Lievens and Bart Klijn. Jurgen Wybo scored one series victory in the second moto, in the first moto he had a “DNF” due to a flat tire. This flat tire also costs Woby his lead in the championship where he now has to share the lead with Henson Lievens. Both count 120 points.
Greg Demeulemeester won both heats at the Inters B, good for 50 points. This brings his total championship points to 144. This is 24 points more than Greg Vullers and 29 points more than Nicky Vermoesen.
