Parting ways Larissa Papenmeier and MX Fonta Racing
Effective immediately, Larissa Papenmeier and its new team, MX Fonta Racing, said goodbye to each other. Due to the health problems of team boss Kiara Fontanesi, all attention should now be focused on Larissa. This did not immediately become apparent in Valkenswaard.
For example, the MX Fonta Racing team truck was missing at the start of the WMX in the Netherlands. Last weekend the little German appeared in Aufenau - where she won by the way - with new clothing and a different sticker set on her Yamaha. Besides being happy with her choice, Larissa did not want to make the split public.
The ex-vice world champion will now continue with her own private team, just like in previous years. We are still waiting for an official statement from MX Fonta Racing or Yamaha. The WMX Championship continues on May 18 and 19 in Agueda, Portugal.
