Second edition Rotterdam DirtRide on July 13 & 14
The 13nd edition of Rotterdam DirtRide will take place during the weekend of July 14 and 2. The weekend is all about experience, the experience of the motorcyclist himself and the magic of motocross like in the 70s and 80s!
Tearing, racing, sprinting and motorcycle polo in the mud
After the enormous success of the 1st edition of Rotterdam DirtRide in September 2018, there will be a sequel this summer. Due to its success, Rotterdam DirtRide has been expanded to a 2-day event. The 2nd edition will take place on July 13 & 14 in Rotterdam, directly along the A13. It is a unique and contemporary event that revolves around the passion for vintage and custom motorcycles such as cafe racers & scramblers.
An undeveloped grass area of approximately 10.000 m2 along the A13 will be transformed especially for this weekend into a festival site with various race tracks on which competitions will take place. Visitors can participate on their own motorcycle. Think of a 40-meter sprint race, a dirt race and also motorcycle polo. In addition to the races, visitors can also test various new motorcycle models from Husqvarna Motorcycles, Indian Motorcycle, Royal Enfield and Triumph Motorcycles.
The first edition in 2018 received many positive reactions from both home and abroad and a lot has been written about it in the media and various motorcycle-related magazines. In 2018, the event attracted more than 700 visitors throughout the day.
A weekend well spent
'It is not a motorcycle show or a row of sales stands, but being able to ride your own motorcycle in extreme conditions at a unique location, along the A13 in Rotterdam. You also have the opportunity to test drive the latest motorcycles. We offer a 100% experience and make a nod to the magic of motocross as in the 70s and 80s.” said organizer Gideon.
