Roan van de Moosdijk takes a moto victory!
It was a hard-fought victory, but Roan van de Moosdijk provides 'Orange' joy in Saint Jean d'Angely. The Kawasaki rider wins the second round during the third race of the European 250cc Championship! For more than 25 minutes, the Eindhoven native was in second place behind Nicholas Lapucci. There are regular attacks, but taking over the lead is always not possible. The sign with two laps to go causes the turnaround and Van de Moosdijk takes the lead! The Italian comes in second ahead of Alberto Forato. He manages to connect in the last lap and passes Thibault Benistant. Despite sixth place in the second heat, Stephen Rubini wins this race just north of Bordeaux.
Rick Elzinga scored again in thirteenth place. There were now no points for Raivo Dankers (23rd), Cyril Genot (26th) and Raf Meuwissen (33rd). This championship will continue in Russia during the Pentecost weekend!
