Series victory and podium for Kevin Strijbos!
Kevin Strijbos rode the second race of the Swedish championship in Linköping this weekend. The JWR Yamaha rider won a heat today and finished fourth in the second heat. Yesterday he finished second, making him second in the final standings after champion Filip Bengtsson!
For the first time, the Belgian veteran completed two thirty-minute races. “I'm happy that I could win the first heat today. Although I am not yet where I want to be, things are going in the right direction. It will just take some time. For the first time since the last GP of 2018, I also rode longer series. Fortunately, the elbow feels better and better,” Strijbos said on social media.
His teammate Vsevolod Brylyakow finished third. Anton Gole, who finished third today, is second in the standings. Kevin Strijbos is currently fourth, 48 points behind leader Bengtsson.
