French rule in the first EMX250 race, Elzinga good!
The French always ride strong in front of their own audience and so also during the third race of the European 250cc Championship. After a good start, Stephen Rubini quickly took the lead and was then defeated by compatriots Jimmy Clochet and Thibault Benistant! Last year Rick Elzinga was strong on this circuit, the rider from Zenderen now crosses the finish line sixth. Roan van de Moosdijk is in the leading group but due to a fall he loses a lot of time and places. Raivo Dankers (14th) and Cyril Genot (17th) managed to get into the points during the first round. Unfortunately no points for Raf Meuwissen, the Limburger finished 23rd behind Kevin Horgmo who was fastest during qualifying!
