Dean Ferris makes the switch to KTM
After winning three titles in the Australian Nationals, Dean Ferris wanted to cross over to the USA in 2019. However, the Aussie is unable to get his foot in the door for the LucasOil AMA Motocross Championship. When Romain Febvre was injured during the Argentine GP, Yamaha brought the 27-year-old motocross rider to Europe. Ferris would replace the Frenchman within the Yamaha factory team for three MXGP races. Things changed when Ferris injured himself in Matterly Basin and could no longer get on the YZ450F. The motocross bike has returned to Australia and will compete for KTM in the Australian Nationals next weekend!
