De Waal and Van der Mierden there in Mantova!
In the past month, both Sven van der Mierden and Micha Boy de Waal (photo) have been in hospital. This weekend during the second Italian GP of the season, the Yamaha duo will return behind the starting gate. During the GP in Valkenswaard, De Waal injured his leg, which meant he did not participate in Arco di Trento, Oss and Axel. His teammate Van der Mierden suffered a broken finger during the previous GP. As a result, the Brabander did not compete during the Dutch Masters of Motocross competitions in Oss and Axel. This weekend both members of the Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team will be back in action. The fifth GP of the season will be held on the sandy circuit of Mantova.
