Jacobi and Van de Moosdijk win!
The second race of the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross went well for the F&H Racing Team. Henry Jacobi managed to take victory on the beautifully maintained Axel circuit. Roan van de Moosdijk also managed to win, he won the second heat. Adam Sterry did not have a pleasant day and he finished ninth in the daily rankings. After two of the four games, Henry is firmly in the lead, reigning champion Jago Geerts is 29 points behind the fast German. Adam occupies fifth place in the standings and Roan is in eighth place.
In the timed training, Roan immediately showed off his calling card by qualifying as the fastest. The start of the first heat goes well for Henry who starts the race in second. He then briefly loses this position, but after more than ten minutes of racing, the 22-year-old rider regains second place. The victory is not possible, but the Moordrecht team is satisfied with a neat second place. Adam started the race in seventh place and managed to improve one place by crossing the finish line in sixth place. This race was a disappointment for Roan because the 18-year-old rider unfortunately had to leave the race with a broken exhaust.
In the second moto Henry seems to get the best start, but Horgmo narrowly manages to take the holeshot award. In the second lap the Leatt-clad rider manages to take the lead. Roan has fought his way from twelfth to second place in just two laps and he then increases the pressure on his teammate. After more than ten minutes of racing, Roan takes the lead and wins this second round! Henry crosses the finish line second after Geerts had to leave the race with engine trouble. Henry therefore wins the day with two second places. Adam managed to come out of the first corner in eighth place, but not much later he made a mistake and fell. From 36th place, the Briton continues to fight for points and with twelfth place his efforts are still reasonably rewarded.
Next game:
After a long break, the FIM MX2 World Championship continues next weekend. The second Grand Prix on Italian soil will be held at the Mantova circuit. The next EMX250 for Roan is on May 25-26 in France and the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross continues on May 30 (Ascension Day) at the Rhenen circuit.
