Shaun Simpson wins Easter Cross Thomer-the-Dream!
Today the 69th(!) edition of the Motorcross of Thomer-la-Sôgne place. The British Shaun Simpson took the podium with two series victories and a second place.
Surprise everywhere during the Superpole. Not the favorite Greg Aranda who set the fastest time, but Shaun Simpson. Aranda had to settle for second time, Zach Pichon was third.
Until the last heat it was exciting for the overall victory thanks to a very strong Zach Pichon. For the occasion, the MX2 GP rider rode the 450 and made a big impression today in only his second race on the heavier bike. Last week during the French championship in Romagné, Pichon had made his debut on the CRF450R. In the end, however, sporting logic was respected with the experienced Simpson as the final winner!
