KTM's Motohall museum almost ready!
On May 11 and 12, KTM will officially open the doors of its Motohall in Mattighofen, the home base of the Austrian manufacturer. Just like Ferrari, Ducati, Porsche, Honda and Yamaha, KTM will soon be able to unveil a museum that tells the successful history of the brand.
More than just a museum, it is a permanent exhibition in which the important production and racing models from the history of the brand are given the leading role. Given the Ready to Race Due to the character of the KTMs, there is of course a lot of competition stuff involved!
The high-tech building, designed by Hofbauer, Liebmann Wimmesberger Architekten, was shaped like a race track and comprises three floors. In addition to the bikes themselves, you will also be introduced to KTM's design process. You will receive the entire process - from sketch to final product - explained in every possible way. The highlight of this journey through the world of KTM is the so-called 'The heroes of Racing' presentation. Impressive images on a 360° video wall celebrate the heroes from KTM's racing history.
The building also houses event spaces, an extensive shop, bar and restaurant. In addition, part of the KTM Motohall is used as a training center for mechanics. In total, this showpiece covers an area of no less than 9.500 m2. You can find everything practical about the KTM Motohall here: https://www.ktm-motohall.com/
