No qualifying training in Oss, but victory in Lottum for Jeremy Knuiman
Jeremy Knuiman took the day's victory in the MX2 youth 125cc during the MON ProX NK youth motocross in Lottum. The MX Rookie Team rider was rewarded for his efforts to travel to Lottum after the qualifying practice of the DMOMX 125cc in Oss was converted into a free practice. Second place went to Sem Beijer (photo) with two second place finishes in the heats. Michon Voets took third place ahead of Bailey van Aken and Teun den Mulder.
First round 125cc youth Lottum:
The top start was for Beijer ahead of Knuiman, Voets, den Mulder and van Aken. On the second lap Knuiman passed Beijer and took the lead. Den Mulder and Van Aken now dropped out of the battle for the heat victory. Van Aken passed Mulder on the seventh lap and took over fourth place. At the front, Knuiman and Beijer slowly but surely broke away from Voets. Beijer managed to stay close to Knuiman for a long time, but he also had to let Knuiman go in the last part of the heat. Knuiman won the heat ahead of Beijer, Voets, van Aken and den Mulder.
Second round 125cc youth Lottum:
Once again Beijer was the fastest to leave. He was followed by Knuiman, Van Aken, Voets and Ivan Verrips. Anyone hoping for an exciting battle was disappointed. In the first lap Knuiman took the lead. Voets passed Van Aken and den Mulder passed Verrips. With this the positions were taken and during the heat the differences between them only increased. With the same result in the top five, the day's ranking was quickly clear
