Fors and Brackman battled it out for the victory in MCLB Laarne!
This weekend the MCLB event went to the sandy grounds of Laarne. There the audience was treated to a fun match in the beautiful sunshine. Kevin Fors and Wietse Brackman competed against each other in both heats. Wietse Brackman was in the lead for a long time in this first heat, but Kevin Fors, who started slightly less, came from fifth place like a steam train to a narrow victory for Wietse Brackman and David Segers. David Segers who would know the disadvantage of a bad starting position all day long, because lots are still drawn in the MCLB.
In the second heat Wietse Brackman showed himself to be the better of the pack. While the Leon Sagaert by Xavier Beel pilot took the lead with a minimal lead, David Segers on his Standing Construct Geecobikes KTM and Kevin Fors on his Reytec Husqvarna battled for second place behind him. A second place that ultimately fell to Kevin Fors with a few laps to ride. David Segers would finish third again!
In the overall standings, the victory in the “International 500” class went to Wietse Brackman, ahead of Kevin Fors and David Segers. Another great podium in the MCLB federation. In the MX2 class, the biggest prize went to occasional driver Erik Willems, who earned this with two sixth places. The first at the Inters B listened to the name in Laarne: Greg Demeulemeester!
