Last week Adam Sterry rode his home GP, this weekend the team competed in front of its own audience. Henry Jacobi and Adam managed to make a good impression at the famous Eurocircuit! The Moordrecht team managed to finish fifth in the daily rankings with Henry, Adam took a neat eighth place in the Brabant sand. Victory during the third Grand Prix went to Jorge Prado, the Spaniard managed to win both heats. Thomas Kjer Olsen remains the leader in the standings while Henry holds second place. Adam rises to eighth place after his performance yesterday in Valkenswaard.
1st Round
On Saturday afternoon, Henry managed to qualify fourth for the Sunday afternoon competitions. The German started very well during the first moto and he comes out of the first corner in third place. Adam also started well and managed to cross the first hump of the Eurocircuit in sixth place. Behind fast starter Prado and World Cup leader Kjer Olsen, 22-year-old Henry comes third from the first round and he will not relinquish this position. He chooses his own pace and manages to secure a nice third place, to the delight of the team that is supported by more than 80 guests this weekend. Adam makes a mistake in the initial phase, which causes him to lose some time. As a result, he misses a jump and is relegated to fourteenth place. The Briton manages to recover quickly and after eight minutes of the race he is in eleventh place. The attempt is made to join the top ten, but unfortunately this does not work, resulting in the Leatt-clad motocross rider crossing the finish line in eleventh place.
2st Round
When the starting gate drops in the second heat, Henry reacts very well! The Motul-lubricated KX250F is sent into the first corner in second. Adam gets into trouble and ends up in midfield, but he manages to recover fairly quickly. From thirteenth place, the 22-year-old rider fought back very well to ninth place. At the end of the first lap, Henry loses second place to Kjer Olsen. The friendly German is able to hold on to third place for the first half of the race. Geerts, Vlaanderen and later Watson can maintain their pace until the checkered flag. They pass Henry who crosses the finish line in sixth!
