All top eight results for the F&H Racing trio!
The F&H Racing Team has achieved no fewer than six top eight finishes on the beautiful Arco di Trento circuit. During the fourth Grand Prix of the season, Henry Jacobi finished fourth and fifth. Adam Sterry finished both heats in eighth place. In the EMX250, Roan van de Moosdijk finished ninth in the daily rankings. The GP victory went to Jorge Prado, the Italian Alberto Forato won the EMX250.
1st Round
Adam gets off to a good start in the first round of the first Italian GP of this season. The Briton turns fifth through the first right-hand bend. His German teammate did not start as well and came in fifteenth after the first timekeeping. In the first lap Adam makes a mistake and loses a position to Larranaga, only to be passed by Kjer Olsen not much later. He makes a mistake one lap later and Adam immediately takes back a place. At the same time, Henry connects with Kjer Olsen, creating a nice fight. 22-year-old Henry pushes forward and passes his teammate for seventh place in the fifth lap. The former 85cc world champion competes with Australian Evans and Spaniard Larranaga and both are passed. Henry drives a great race and crosses the finish line in fourth. Adam has a strong second half and fights with fellow countryman Watson for seventh place. The battle is fierce but fair and Watson comes out on top, meaning our Welsh rider crosses the finish line in eighth place.
2st Round
From the outside, Henry sprints in a tight line to the first corner with the Motul lubricated KX250F. Behind Prado, the driven German comes out of the first corner second. In the first round Vialle manages to take over second place. Henry was able to hold on to third place for the first half of the race, but then he made a small mistake resulting in a slide. This drops Henry back to sixth place, but with five laps to go Vialle is passed for fifth place. Adam finished the first full lap in eighth place and the 22-year-old Briton will no longer relinquish this position! With two eighth places, Adam scores well and consolidates ninth place in the championship standings.
EMX250
From pole position, Roan doesn't get off to a good start and ends up outside the top ten at the first corner. Fortunately, the Eindhoven resident quickly makes up places and after five minutes of racing the Kawasaki rider enters the top five! A little later, fourth place is taken over and arrows becomes face in third place. However, well into the second half of the race, Roan made a mistake, which caused him to drop back to sixth place, where he also finished.
The second heat starts very badly for Roan, who comes out of the second corner in thirtieth position. The 18-year-old rider then works his way forward like a hot knife through butter! Just in the first half of the race over 25 minutes and two laps, the Leatt-clad rider enters the top ten. There he also managed to make up two places, ending this race in eighth place.
