Gajser and Bogers about their Dutch GP
With a workshop in the Netherlands and a Dutch main sponsor (HSF Logistics), the Dutch Grand Prix was a home event for Team HRC. Tim Gajser was back on the podium while teammate Brian Bogers (photo) also performed well. The CR450F rider looks back on the third race of the FIM MXGP World Championship.
Tim Gajser
“I'm quite happy to finish on the podium again. I'm just a little disappointed with the first moto. I made a mistake and finished seventh. I try to learn as much as I can from these mistakes so I don't make them in the future. However, the second race was good. My speed was good, my start was good. We were really close to the lead and the pace was high. Overall I'm quite satisfied and really looking forward to next weekend in Arco di Trento. Big thanks to everyone in the team, they did a great job with the bike and I felt comfortable in both motos.”
Brian Bogers
“The first heat went quite well. I had a good start, I saw P11 on the pit board. I really tried to push to get into the top ten. Maybe I fought too hard and I really exhausted myself! I finished twelfth and I was very happy with that. It was nice to see my hard work paying off. In the second race my start wasn't that good and I was hit by another rider. The impact of this collision damaged my bike and I cannot finish the second heat. It's a shame, but this is motocross and I have to put it behind me and travel to Trentino next weekend.”
