VIDEO: Febvre's ugly fall
We start with the good news: Monster Energy Yamaha's Romain Febvre was injured yesterday after his heavy crash in the second moto taken to a local hospital for further examination. Yamaha announced today that the ex-world champion is okay.
Febvre made an eager impression in Argentina. The fast Frenchman won the qualifying race on Saturday and finished third behind Tony Cairoli and Tim Gajser in the opening series on Sunday. At the end of the second series things went wrong in the waves. Romain injured his right foot and ankle.
What exactly this injury means remains to be seen because the Yamaha star rider will soon visit his doctor in Belgium for a second opinion.
