Stefan Everts leaves hospital after toe amputation!
The walking still took some time, but Stefan Everts was finally allowed to leave the University Hospital in Leuven this afternoon! Due to a dangerous bone infection, “S72” had to have his little toe amputated two weeks ago.
In the aftermath of the severe malaria attack that struck the 46-year-old ex-motocross rider, Stefan still had to deal with many ailments and ailments. For example, the ten-time motocross world champion was hospitalized again a month ago due to infection problems. Intensive treatment with antibiotics followed, but to prevent the infection from spreading further in the foot, it was decided to amputate Everts' little toe.
Now Everts can fully focus on his further recovery at home. Stay Strong Stefan!
