MX Rookie Team ready for 2019 motocross season
The MX Rookie Team will consist of two riders this year, namely Jeremy Knuiman 125cc and Damien Knuiman 85cc big wheels. Boyd van der Voorn, who has been part of our team in recent years, has left the youth class and found shelter elsewhere in a great team. We thank Boyd and his family for the great cooperation in recent years and wish him every success in the future.
We are happy to announce that we have a new sponsor, namely Harley Davidson.
Harley Davidson Amsterdam has taken the MX Rookie Team under its wing and will collaborate with EcoMaxx Racing Fuels, Henstek Wijchen B.V. and Personal B.V. act as main sponsor. In addition, we can fortunately count on all A-brands to support us. Recognized companies also contribute to supporting the Rookie Team.
MB Tuning, VHM and HGS Exhaust Systems provide the perfect engine. Twin Air ensures the correct air intake and cooling, Haan Wheels together with Dunlop for the correct wheels and tires and Mister Shock Therapy, Bert van Keulen, has adjusted the suspension to the right point. Dizz factory took care of all the sticker work and it looks great again.
Arai helmets, 100% goggles and gloves, Alpinestars, Gaerne, Leath and WLM Design will provide the clothing this season.
The right parts come from the right suppliers. For us, this means that JTX MX Racing, Motomaster Braking Systems, Hocoparts, Prox, Agealube lubricants, Gently Care & Cleaning Products, TMV supply their products to us.
Tramex B.V., Air liquide, Hewil Bedrijfswagens, Logistics Force, Het Vleespannetje, Technisch Isolatiebedrijf Nijmegen, Wido Kraanverhuur B.V., Verkroost scooters, Braap, Holeshot, Metaalbedrijf Bernts B.V. are loyal supporting sponsors.
With the support of the above companies, we will start the new season with great expectations.
This weekend (March 16 and 17) the season will open in Axel. The first of four competitions of the Dutch Masters of Motocross are scheduled here. Given the weather conditions of the past week, it will be a tough weekend in which we hope to achieve good results.
A lot of training has been done this winter, both conditionally and on the bike, and we are therefore looking forward to the season with confidence. Damien will make his appearance in the 85cc big wheels and hopes to achieve a top 10 position. Jeremy, who is starting his second season in the 125cc class, also sets the bar a little higher and, in addition to a top 10 position, wants to try to qualify for a European Championship participation.
