Italian wins first round of EMX125 in V'waard!
In the first round in Valkenswaard, the victory went to the Italian Mattia Guadagnini. The Italian, competing for the Maddii Racing team, managed to take control of the race from start to finish and thus stayed ahead of the Estonian and the British Joel Rizzi!
The Dutch could already scream their lungs out for Kay de Wolf, the Dutchman competing for the official Husqvarna team made a strong start and that resulted in a nice fifth place! This in his first EMX125 race, which means he narrowly beat his fellow countryman Kjell Verbruggen (intro photo) in sixth place. The Dutch supporters could also benefit from Kay Karssemakers, among others, who managed to finish eighteenth and thus immediately scored points in his first EMX125 race of his young career. Dave Kooiker managed to qualify well, which is a strong achievement in itself, but in the first series the young man finished outside the points in thirty-eighth place.
For the Belgian fans present in Valkenswaard, there was only one point of interest in the match. Liam Everts was the only Belgian pilot who managed to get through the tough qualifications. The young man rode well to seventeenth place, scoring his first points in his EMX125 career.
