Last weekend the MXGP World Championship started in Argentina, and a Belgian immediately scored. After a long period of uncertainty, Jeremy Van Horenbeek, of all people, managed to turn all the worries into perhaps one of the best sporting moments of the year. After a short preparation period, “The Jerre” was able to reward his perseverance and the trust of his team with an excellent third place. In honor of this, we will show you the path Jeremy took last winter on his way to the podium.

Jeremy rode his last race of 2018 in Red Bud, America, during the Motocross of Nations. At that moment it looked like this might have been Jeremy's last race as a full-time World Championship pilot.

Breaking the silence surrounding his transfer news, Jeremy announced that he will join Team Honda SR Motoblouz at Le Touquet.

Jerremy took part in his very first beach race in preparation for Le Touquet. Ultimately, Jeremy managed to end his beach race debut with a fifth place.

For the first time in his career, Jeremy took part in Le Touquet. After a strong race he unfortunately had to retire early, but he had already proven his skills as a beach racer for a long time.

Finally came the redeeming news that Jeremy has found a seat for the World Cup after all. Jeremy would continue his collaboration with Team Honda SR Motoblouz in the MXGP World Championship.
March 3 2019
After a short preparation, Jeremy travels to Argentina for the (unexpected) start of his MXGP season. With a third place in qualifying on Saturday, Jeremy already surprised in a positive way. Although the biggest surprise came a day later when Jeremy was finally allowed to take his place on a World Cup podium again after a 6+3 score in the heats.
