Bas Vaessen takes the Redplate in Doncaster!
Bas Vaessen won the first race of the Maxxis British Championship MX2 in Doncaster. The KTM rider came second and first, which gave him the day's victory ahead of teammate Conrad Mewse (1-2) and the Swede Alvin Ostlund (3-3). In the MX1, the victory went to Shaun Simpson (1-2), he managed to stay ahead of fellow countrymen Tommy Searle (3-1) and Lewis Tombs (5-4).
