'Regional cross terrain would be the most ideal solution'
During the last council meeting, the Mill municipal council agreed to a motion by AB'90 to investigate the possibilities of a regional motocross terrain. “This should ensure that crossers can continue to cross in the future,” says group chairman Erik Rietveld of AB'90.
With De Kuilen, the municipality has a beautiful circuit. Until April 14. “De Kuilen has been transformed from an industrial area into a natural gem in recent years. The associations that use the circuit have always been aware that the circuit would disappear after twenty years. Even when the use could be extended one more time in 2012 (until the end date of the leasehold, ed.), they apparently never really felt the urgency to look for alternatives,” Rietveld continues. “They are not there yet.”
