With a broken foot, Herlings can show his social side
Jeffrey Herlings goes from one extreme to the other. The best motocross in the world has to wait at home with a broken foot when the signal turns green again for him.
Photographers and camera teams are not welcome in the Herlings house in Oploo. Jeffrey Herlings (24) does not want to be immortalized with his plaster foot. "I don't think it's positive advertising. Not for the sport and not for myself, especially because I have already had several injuries. It's not something to be proud of. I get paid to race, not to sit on the couch and heal. I deliberately didn't put anything on social media," the MXGP world champion explains why he remains out of the picture for a while.
