Successful BeTeMo 2019 team presentation!
BeTeMo, short for Motocross Guidance Team, is almost synonymous with organizing. Last Friday's well-organized team performance was no exception to that solid reputation. To great interest, BeTeMo presented 19 drivers, team members and 'side projects' in its own Arendonk!
Due to musical obligations, Leon Van Gestel had to leave the presentation this time to VLM speaker Peter Droogmans. Peter, dressed to the nines, brought the pilots into the spotlight. In addition to the versatility of the team, from young to slightly less young, the quality is certainly striking. BeTeMo has no fewer than seven Inters, including of course reigning VLM champion Jens Van Meer.
We can also expect fireworks from top performers such as Wouter Van Massenhoven and Greg Smets again this year! The latter indicated under the approving eye of father Joël that he is going for the VLM Inters MX2 title this year. BeTemo figurehead Sven Breugelmans will also be present again in 2019. The two-time MX3 world champion will add another year in MX2 on a two-stroke, but you will also see him at work again in the classic car competitions while daughter Maxime teaches the boys. sets fire to the 85cc!
There are many eager young faces among the youth riders, including the 85cc Novices champion Travis Passareti and the Van Mechgelen brothers. BeTeMo also had news on the clothing front. This year, all riders will not only use WLM stickers, race shirts and pit boards, but will also be at the start in custom Aircomp1 pants from the Dutch brand.
BeTeMo organizations
Both the Strikskers Party and the Snow Beach Party are already behind us, but next weekend BeTeMo can get the national MX season underway with the combined BMB-VLM opening cross in Lommel! In addition, BeTeMo also guarantees a second competition in Lommel on June 9, the cross on Reusel still needs to be confirmed, just like the one in Dessel.
To ensure that all this organization runs smoothly, and of course to support the team, the BeTeMo employees are also working during the two-day Arendonk Sings and Swings (17 & 18 May) and the legendary Vraai fair in August.
