Double De Wolf, Everts second in Lacapelle-Marival
After his victory in the international competition in the British Hawkstone Park, Kay de Wolf also won in Lacapelle Marival. The 14-year-old JM Racing MX rider won both motos ahead of Liam Everts.
Liam Everts (photo below) and Kay De Wolf were guest riders in the regional - read 125cc Ligue competition in Lacapelle. In any case, Kay lived up to his role as favorite with flying colors.
EMX125 fellow VHR KTM rider Xavier Cazal finished third in the two series. The EMX125 Championship starts on March 30 and 31 in Valkenswaard.
Kay DeWolf: “It was a perfect weekend for me. I took the holeshot in both motos. I set a strong pace and tried to maintain it until the finish. These two wins give me a lot of confidence but I know it will be more difficult when the EMX125 Championship starts. I try to keep my feet on the ground and focus on the future. It's been a great pre-season so far and I hope I can improve my race pace a bit during the season."
RESULTS
1. Kay De Wolf 1+1; 2. Liam Everts 2+2; 3. Xavier Cazal 20+20; 4. Steven Pascal 16+15; 5. Robin Pujol 14+16;.
