Christian Craig forfeits for Dallas
Despite an injury to his thumb, Christian Craig still made an attempt to keep his title aspirations alive in Minneapolis. Unfortunately for Craig, it quickly became clear that his thumb could not handle a full day of racing, forcing him to withdraw from the race in Dallas. Craig himself shared the news on social media, stating that now that he has been knocked out of title contention he will take time to allow his thumb to fully heal. It is not yet clear when we will see Craig appear behind the starting gate again, but until further notice, the AMA supercross championship will once again have one less fan favorite in addition to Jason Anderson.
