Antonio Cairoli makes Ottobiano shiver
Last year during the Italian Grand Prix, Antonio Cairoli made the Ottobiano circuit tremble. The Italian won the Grand Prix in front of his own audience and immediately made up 50 points on the absent Jeffrey Herlings. Today the KTM rider was during the second competition of the F.M.I. Internazionali D'Italia also the best. In the MX1 race he managed to overtake both Tim Gajser and Romain Febvre in the final phase. In the Superfinal, a nice duel with Gajser was decided in favor of the 33-year-old Italian. Jorge Prado-Garcia was also the best MX2 rider this weekend, although the Spaniard had to work hard to get behind Mikkel Haarup in the Super Final. The 125cc race was won by Simon Langenfelder, the WZ Racing rider won both motos, although in the second moto it was exciting until the last corner when Langerfelder crashed! Dave Kooiker made his international debut with the YZ125 and the Drent made his mark with fifth place!
