Stefan Everts leaves intensive care!
A new press release once again contains positive news from Stefan Everts. The ten-time motocross world champion, who was struck by malaria at the beginning of December, yesterday exchanged the intensive care department of UZ Leuven for the rehabilitation center.
'The Legend' will stay in that department for six weeks to continue working on his recovery. This is another big step forward for Everts. Malaria broke out in early December after he had died in Congo in mid-November 4h the Lubumbashi had participated for a good cause. The Limburger fought for his life for a while and was artificially put to sleep for a while. Everts fought back and defeated his biggest competitor ever. About a week ago, tests showed that he had not suffered any permanent damage to organs or brain.
In recent days, Everts again made great progress, after which the professors decided to move him to the rehabilitation center. He will continue to work hard on his recovery there in the coming weeks. Last week there was excellent work from son Liam a multi-year agreement with KTM came on.
