Mike Kras in SX Goes thanks to “Friends of Mike”
Mike Kras has always considered supercrossing one of his qualities. His feeling and timing serve him very well in this branch, which has given him the necessary successes in recent years. Yet he had ignored this sport last year. Until Olav Heijt from MXinfected threw a ball about Supercross Goes…
“It was only a few days ago that I called Mike to make an update regarding the new season,” Olav begins enthusiastically. “Signing with Ecomaxx for at least two years made me and perhaps others curious. Naturally, Goes came up and when I noticed that the door was ajar, I agreed. My son and I had once brainstormed out loud about such an idea, but it always remained a wild dream. One thing led to another and at this point everything has been arranged and the decision has been made.”
“Mike drives for 'us', but certainly not only because of us. The plan was to get it out of the crowd, so that people who might not even care much about cross country could express the favorability factor a little more easily. Of course, I had already told them many times that cross-country skiing is beautiful. This way we have been able to cover the costs and Mike only has to worry about finishing on the podium. Not even necessarily for us, but certainly for themselves. It is quite a list, but you will get that automatically if you spread the interests widely.”
We would like to thank with great respect the 'Friends of Mike':

BEWIN, Putte. (Marc van Wijk) Cross-crazy enduro riding friend of the family as well as support and support from Mike. He certainly belongs to the hard core of the close-knit group of supporters. SouthTrading is mainly concerned with the purchase and sale of used trucks, which are often exported to various countries around the world. www.southtrading.nl
Goossens Heat and Cooling Technology, Putte. (Remco Goossens) Remco has also been a friend of the family for years. As a former motocross rider and contemporary enduro specialist, Remco of course had to participate, because Mike recently became one of his employees. Goosens Warmtetecniek supplies and takes care of almost all central heating and air conditioning work. work in its wider region. www.goossenswarmtetechniek.nl
Players Casinos, Oudenbosch – Breda. (Marijn Bennaars) As a former intern and former owner of the permanent indoor cross track in Roosendaal, Marijn is very closely linked to motocross. He himself is no longer active. His son Manny, who now exceeds him in height, has also acquired a taste for cross-country racing and will try his luck in the DMX south in the coming season. Marijn is successfully running his two beautiful Casinos. www.playerscasino.nl
Brabant AG Industrie, Klundert/Moerdjk. (Hendrik Vermeulen) Hendrik is cross. He raced himself and his two sons Brian and Danny can also be found on the circuits on a regular basis. He is involved in the ins and outs of MC Rilland in every possible way. One of the gold veins that ensure that the beautiful circuit can be used to the fullest. His company transports, repairs, sells and rents just about everything related to industry. Inspections of various machines are also part of the work. Hendrik Vermeulen. Technical ingenuity in a down-to-earth body. www.brabantagindustrie.nl
M.Hopmans Plastering, Halsteren. (Marco Hopmans) Marco is a veteran who is slowly but surely expanding his addiction again. Previously found weekly on the circuits of the former BLB, but now, many years later, through enduro violence, I made the move to cross again. He clocks his laps with great motivation. The MC Rilland circuit is where it all started and will most likely end again. He was taught the plastering trade by his father Piet and now earns a good living from it with his own business. 0164-688000 – 06-21814573
Verbeek Group, Antwerp – Amsterdam. (Herbert Verbeek) Herbert is a pursang enthusiast. Not necessarily for cross-country, but certainly anything that runs on petrol. Preferably no diesel. Over the years he has ridden everything, due to his absolute passion for speed. Herbert is the owner of the Belgian 'Verbeek Group'. As a specialist in renovations, facades are cleaned and impregnated, but concrete renovation and painting are also part of the wide range of services available. www.verbeekgroup.be
From Rumund Montage, Bergen op Zoom. (Tommy van Rumund) Tommy immediately said yes. Not only because of his friendly nature, but also because he only recently decided to start running his own business. After having carried out all kinds of installation work for various employers, he now mainly focuses on renovation and new construction of kitchens and bathrooms. Due to a satisfied customer base, he is busy, but nevertheless does not miss his pleasures, such as the Supercross in Goes. 06-38681915
Van Nispen Welding Service, Bergen op Zoom. (Peter van Nispen) Peter was actually infected with the cross virus mainly by his neighbor (ikzeidegek). When he heard and saw our motorcycles, his unfulfilled boyhood dream came back to life. After a short starting season, he cleared away his Suzuki due to a welcome family expansion, but when the time is right there will certainly be another two-stroke in his garage. As a welder for a boss, he recently decided to do something on the side on his own. Thanks to the various certificates he has obtained, he is now capable of a lot. vannispenlassservice@ziggo.nl
MC Dartshop, Steenbergen. (Maikel and Esther) Neither of them have much interest in cross-country, but they certainly have a recognizable passion for sport. Together, this couple created a dart shop from scratch that is growing faster than the arrows fly. With three branches and a great webshop, they have now grown into one of the leading dart shops in the Netherlands and Belgium. I have deep respect for it and apparently what you give you sometimes get back. Without thinking, they unanimously joined our 'project'. www.mcdartshop.nl
Construction company Tielen, Bergen op Zoom. (Mark Tielen) Mark is addicted. In addition to motocross and enduro riding, he can also be found on various motocross circuits with his son Luciano almost every week. He works hard, but enjoys it no less. With his (sometimes too) good heart, he is always there for you without expecting anything in return. His construction company takes care of complete finishing. His target group includes both the private and business markets. www.bouwbedrijftielen.nl
Mxuseum, Bergen op Zoom. (Peter Hoendervangers) Peter has been one of Mike's most loyal supporters for years. Peter had stopped his active cross career for some time when he missed a bend with his road bike. Despite the consequences of an incomplete spinal cord injury, he still goes through life in an unprecedentedly positive way. Through his own actions he can do everything again, albeit with a slight limitation. Like never before, he enjoys the beauty of today, but certainly also the wonderful memories from his cross years. With two BLB championships under his belt, he looks back at the time of his life. With his MX Museum he preserves what, apart from his marriage to Patricia, was the best thing in his life so far. Check out Facebook: mxseum the netherlands 'preserving motocross history' and enjoy!
WP Security and WP Construction Work. (Wally Pouwels) As an official veteran, he is still making progress, but due to his busy business life, active sport is somewhat in jeopardy. A bit more sensitive to injuries as the years start to count, he now mainly focuses on his two companies. With the security branch, he and his team focus on events and festivals. Of course, the men can also regularly be found at various, mainly larger, cross competitions. The 'construction side' focuses mainly on laying paving and the rental of vibrating plates and sweepers. Besides all the hustle and bustle, Wally and his Belinda are big supporters of 'our Kogel'. www.wpsecurity.nl

With his company he provides various attractions at annual fairs and fairs. In addition, a purchase and sale of cars has emerged, some of which are also used as rental cars. www.allin-events.nl
Koevoets en de Vries Attractions, Wernhout. This company was convinced by colleague and friend Maurice Bakx. Not many words were needed for this, because the world of fairground attractions is large but very close-knit. Like a large family, they travel at home and abroad every year to keep the fair flag flying with increasing difficulty. These are hard times, but by ensuring that they can work completely self-supporting, the fairs will remain for a while. “Buy a ticket and we'll go another round.” 06-46755806

The Ecomaxx Mike's shirts are provided by WLM with the logos of the 'friends of Mike' shown above.
