Judge: higher penalty for Kempen cross club reasonable
Closing the motocross terrain of MCC de Kempen would be too severe a measure for the incidental noise violations, the judge finds. The considerably higher penalty imposed by the municipality of Bladel is sufficient at this stage, the preliminary relief judge in Den Bosch ruled on Tuesday. After previously forfeiting and collecting penalty payments of up to 15.000 euros, the municipality of Bladel imposed a new penalty on motocross club MCC de Kempen in April 2018 of 10.000 euros per day with a maximum of 60.000 euros.
