Jake Nicholls sidelined for longer with injury
Last year Jake Nicholls came very close to the Maxxis British Championship MX1 title. However, the Honda rider had to miss the final due to a broken tibia. Evgeny Bobryshev managed to take advantage and overcome his deficit to take the title. The former GP rider had his sights set on revenge in 2019, but unfortunately that will not work. A bacterium disrupted the recovery and there were even fears of amputation. Fortunately, that is not the case, but he will have to miss the first two games of the coming season.
