European KTM Adventure Rally heads to Bosnia
The 2019 European KTM Adventure Rally will take place in Bosnia from June 17 to 20. Online registration starts at the end of February. However, there are only 150 places available for this unique three-day adventure…
Those who attend next summer can try out their KTM machine together with like-minded motorcyclists in the small, but breathtaking and mountainous Balkan country. From the Bosnian ski village of Bjelasnica, which serves as the event's home base, a chosen group can conquer the enormous diversity of the area. You will find winding asphalt roads, endless sandy paths and challenging courses amid majestic mountains, deep gorges, high plains, ice-cold mountain lakes and crystal clear rivers.
The 2019 three-day guided rally is entirely organized by KTM and builds on the success of the previous two European KTM Adventure Rallies (in Bardonecchia and Sardinia). The event is suitable for all riders, from novice adventure enthusiasts to seasoned professionals. The rally is only open to owners of the following KTM Adventure models: 640, 690, 790, 950, 990, 1050, 1090, 1190 and 1290.
As in previous years, the KTM Adventure Rally also has special guests from the world of KTM. Our official ambassador Chris Birch, eight-time New Zealand enduro champion, three-time Roof of Africa winner and 2010 Red Bull Romaniacs award winner, has already confirmed his participation. Chris is happy to offer participants first-hand advice on everything related to travel enduro and of course also shows how he goes to the extreme in KTM Adventures.
Participation in the KTM Adventure Rally costs €745. This involves three days of intensive and adventurous driving on marked routes (with supplied GPS data and under the guidance of a guide). The price includes all fuel for the entire event and a set of off-road tires*, provided on site by KTM. Accommodation can be booked during online registration together with participation in the rally, but participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the event.
This great package also includes lunch and dinner on riding days, an evening program, an exclusive KTM goodie bag, workshops to improve your technical skills, and technical and medical support. There is also the opportunity to test the latest KTM Adventure family, including the new KTM 790 Adventure models. Participants must organize their own travel to and from the event. In the run-up to the event, participants can help each other find accommodation via a closed Facebook group and make arrangements for joint travel or meet-ups on the way to Bosnia.
