Bowers and Lebeau win the first evening in Dortmund
As leader in the standings, Cole Martinez seems to be doing well in the ADAC SX Cup 2018-2019. The Suzuki rider is in the lead for 19 of the 20 laps. The points are only distributed when the checkered flag falls and something went wrong shortly before that. Martinez crashes and sees Tyler Bowers take the first win of the weekend. Valentin Teillet comes second ahead of Martinez who is not happy with his performance. The SX2 final was dominated by Julien Lebeau, the Diga Procross rider (photo) won and thus comes into the standings next to Tom Koch with one race to go!

In the final, Teillet gets the best start ahead of Ullirch. The 2-stroke rider briefly takes over the lead, but Teillet does everything he can to regain the lead. The riders hit each other, causing them to fall. Marteinz takes the lead and halfway through the final he has an almost ten second lead over compatriot Bowers. This one has a safe margin over Nick Schmidt, but a lot still happens in the final phase! Martinez makes a mistake with just over a lap to go! The Team Castrol Power-MotoBase rider falls and sees Bowers and Teillet pass. Bowers takes his third victory of the season, in Chemnitz the Kawasaki rider managed to win both days. To the delight of the crowd, Dominique Thury finished fourth ahead of Charles Lefrancois
SX2
Without the leader in the standings, Tom Koch, the final was held on Friday evening. Koch crashed during both the qualifying match and the 'last change', meaning he had to watch! Lebeau played his favorite role where he won and managed to win the final without many problems. Anthony Bourdon finished second behind his compatriot ahead of the unknown Diogo Croqa. Unfortunately, Nolan Cordens was unable to qualify for the final during this first evening in the Westfalenhallen. Tomorrow the second day and also the last for the ADAC SX Cup! The third day in Dortmund is not valid for the championship!
