Complete KNMV motocross calendar announced!
The KNMV has been busy recently putting together the complete 2019 motocross calendar. After agreement with all clubs about the organization, the KNMV announced the calendar today!
The Dutch Masters of Motocross calendar was previously published. The KNMV has now brought together all motocross competitions for the new season one handy pdf file. This way you have a good overview of the dates and locations. You can find the sidecar calendar here.
- The ONK, NK and CUP competitions will start on March 9 and 10 on the circuit of the MSV Motôdrome in Emmen. It has been decided to divide the ONK ('Dutch Masters') 85ccGW, 125cc, 250cc and 500cc classes simultaneously as much as possible. These classes have 10 competitions on the calendar spread throughout the year, including the circuits in Mill, Lelystad, Harfsen and Lierop.
- In addition to the fact that Lierop is back on the calendar, we welcome a number of organizers who have not been on the calendar for one or more years. For example, the TCD Hummelo will organize its competition on July 17 and the completely new circuit of the MCNH in Hellendoorn will be visited on September 14. The ONK, NK and CUP final weekend will be organized next season by the H.A.M.C. from St. Isidorushoeve. There is a good chance that most of the champions will be announced in 'De Hoeve' and the club will do everything it can to make it a beautiful and dignified ending!
- In addition to the CUP250 and CUP500 classes, we are also introducing the CUP125 in 2019. The CUP classes include riders who generally no longer have international ambitions and are therefore assigned more competitions than the ONK classes. There are a total of 15 competitions for all three classes, with a nice spread over the year.
- In 2019 there are five International Motocross events in the Netherlands: on March 30 and 31 the MXGP in Valkenswaard, on April 20 and 22 the World Championship Sidecar in Oldebroek, on June 15 and 16 the European Motocross Championships in Arnhem, on July 6 and 7 World Championship Sidecar in Markelo and then, to top it all off, the Motocross of Nations in Assen on September 28 and 29.
