VIDEO: Belgian finishes on podium twice in Mini O's!!
A few weeks ago the Mini O's were contested in Florida at the Gatorback Cycle Park. There were also several Belgians at the start from the AMPL federation, the best performer of the group was without a doubt Florent Lambillon. The 17-year-old pilot from Namur managed to score a podium in both the Motocross 250C and 450C classes with a 3rd place in the MX 250C and a second place in the MX 450c.
The young French-speaking Belgian also put his antennae out to the level in the other classes. For example, he competed in the Schoolboy 2 class, a more competitive class with more “factory supported” youth pilots. Jarrett Frye won this class ahead of Ty Masterpool and Stilez Robertson. With a 17th and 23rd place, Florent Lambillon finished twenty-fifth in this schoolboy 2 class.
In the supercross section of the Mini O's, Florent Lambillon achieved a nineteenth place overall in the Schoolboy 2 class. In the 250B he won his heat (see video) but then did not start in the second heat, a similar story in the 450B class with a second place in the first heat but a DNS in the “final”.
