Tim Louis with GEPA Kawasaki and Pablo MXteam
Tim Louis has had a great season as Belgian vice-champion in MX2, finishing 10th in the EMX 300. He also became an individual in the Coupe de l'Avenir in Baiseux. In 2019, Tim can count on the support of Kawasaki GEPA and Pablo MXteam.
The names GEPA and Patrick Geladé certainly ring a bell. Geladé was one of the driving forces behind the GPKR Kawasaki team that won the MX2006 world title in 2 with Christophe Pourcel
Patrick Géladé has decided to return to his first love and reopen his Kawasaki dealership in Loncin, dedicated to everything off-road! The Pablo MX team is mainly known in amateur circles. For manager Jean-Paul Baerten, the collaboration with GEPA came at exactly the right time. “We had the opportunity to collaborate with Gepa / Kawasaki, a well-known dealer in motocross. The team's goals in 2019 are to participate in Le Touquet, the BMB competitions, some GPs and the 12 hours of La Chinelle. Tim Louis will be the team's driver, his father Fabrice Louis will be responsible for the technology.
The team will also be able to count on the experience of Thierry Klutz. “Thierry will play a role as an advisor to help Tim in his progression,” continues Jean-Paul Baerten.
A busy schedule
Louis will switch to the Kawasaki KX 2019 for 450. In preparation for the season he will ride the last two rounds of the French beach racing championship (Grayan-et-l'Hôpital and Le Touquet). In addition to the Inters MX BK of the BMB and several AMPL competitions, Tim has his sights on three MXGPs (Valkenswaard, St-Jean d'Angely and Lommel).
“It is a great pleasure to be part of the Pablo MX team / Gepa,” explains Tim Louis. “I will be surrounded by a dynamic and motivated team. I am convinced that together we can show great things. This structure is what I was looking for to achieve my sporting goals. With the switch to this new team I can concentrate on the sporting aspects. Thank you to everyone who has faith in me! ”
