Peick releases gruesome photos of injuries!
Weston Peick released some photos this evening of the horrific injuries he suffered during the Paris supercross about 14 days ago. The American then fell and was unknowingly hit hard by Cedric Soubeyras. The first rumors in the stadium immediately indicated that the injuries were of a serious nature. For example, some entrances and exits were closed so that the mosquitoes that arrived could do their work in a quiet and closed space. It took more than 50 minutes before the pilot was stable enough to be transported to the “Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière” hospital.
Knowing all this, these photos immediately take on a different meaning. Weston Peick got through the eye of the needle, because because of the fractures in his face and jaws, even breathing suddenly became a problem. Fortunately, after three operations and a lot of pain, the Joe Gibbs Suzuki pilot can be repatriated to his home country America on December 4. Where he can then continue his rehabilitation in his familiar environment and undergo the further necessary treatments.
Anyone who wants to help Weston Peick can still do so make a donation on the Road2Recovery page.
