Joël Robert is also doing well!
In the midst of the (positive) whirlwind around Stefan Everts, we almost forgot! Six-time world champion Joël Robert also has positive news. Robert only left the hospital after part of his right leg was amputated.
As is known, Joël has been struggling with diabetes for ten years. As a result of his illness, part of his leg had to be amputated below the knee. According to our colleagues at Motohead However, the ex-Suzuki star still has big plans.
After all, next year Robert plans to move to the US to become curator of a new motocross museum with many factory bikes, including some of his own. We're sure we'll hear more about this later from our friends at MXvintage.be. In any case, we wish Joël a speedy recovery!
