Nolan Cordens talks about his comeback on HLN.be!
The Belgian motocross world was shocked after the Grand Prix of Arco-di-Trento in 2015. The Cordens family had experienced a very serious traffic accident on the way back and the promising Nolan Cordens was seriously injured. The Limburger was urgently transferred to the hospital in Innsbrück, where many interventions awaited him to save his life. What followed was a tough rehabilitation, which was recently crowned, three years later, with the international victory in the Supercross of Bercelona.
The accident happened around 7 a.m. on the A12 Inntalautobahn in Ebbs near Kufstein, not far from the border with Germany. The Cordens family was on their way back from a European Championship match in Arco di Trento, Italy, when a reckless Italian driver (47) hit the back of their vehicle with his BMW at a speed of 210 kilometers per hour.home banged. “We were not allowed to go faster than 100 kilometers per hour and we did so,” says father Jan. “Suddenly we were completely pushed away and crashed head-on into the guardrail.”Read the full story: HLN.be – Dirk Selis
