Tim Edberg completes JWR Yamaha Racing line-up
Luckily they have a big tent at JWR Yamaha Racing! After MXGP riders Kevin Strijbos, Vsevelod Brylyakov and MX2 rider Anton Gole, the Swedish team today announces Tom Edberg. Edberg will compete in the EMX250.
Tim Edberg showed great things in the EMX2017 in 125. He fought for podium positions and - despite minor injuries - gained a lot of international experience. After finishing eighth in the 125cc class, his first season in the quarter-litre class ended in disappointment. Now that the injuries of the past season are behind him, the JWR Yamaha Racing rider wants to take revenge in the waiting room of the MX2 World Championship!
Tim Edberg: “I am very happy to have joined the JWR Yamaha Racing team. It will also be my third year at Yamaha Europe. For me it is great that I am now - as a Swede - in a Swedish team. That makes everything easier for me. I've had a few difficult years, especially this year when I was sidelined for almost the entire season due to injuries. But I hope for a strong off-season with my new teammates so that I can be ready when the EMX250 season starts.”
