Weston Peick injury update in SX Paris
The first evening of the Paris Supercross was marred by two heavy crashes yesterday. In the SX2, Valentin Guillod crashed hard in the final sprint. The sympathetic Swiss lay down for a while but was able to leave the track under his own power. Worse was Weston Peick's crash.
Immediately after the start things went wrong for the JGR Suzuki rider. Peick received a hard blow to the head and was left unconscious. According to initial reports, he was kept in a coma in hospital. Weston's father and fiancée have already left America for France to assist the unfortunate rider.
UPDATE: According to several sources, Peick's condition is currently stable. It is also positive that he would not have suffered a brain trauma. Weston suffered several injuries to his face and mouth.
