Jason Anderson wins first day of SX Paris!
During the first day, Husqvarna factory pilot Jason Anderson took the lead. The reigning world supercross champion scored the man with number 21, twice a victory and once a third place in the competitions. That gave him a total of five points. This was enough to hold off French hope Dylan Ferrandis. The Frenchman scored a third and a fourth place and set the place ablaze with a series win in the second heat. Third in the provisional rankings we find Zach Osborne, who scored ten points with two good second places and a sixth place.
Jace Owen wins the first night in the U-Arena
Jace Owen, the former AMA Arenacross pilot, in turn won the first day of the Supercross in Paris. The American, who had only just started competing in Australia, competed for the BUD Kawasaki team in the U-Arena and managed to score consistently in the three heats held. With two wins and one second place, the American was clearly the best. This ahead of his compatriot Cameron McAdoo with eight points and the Frenchman Adrien Escoffier with also eight points. Whether these will determine who will be crowned Prince tomorrow remains to be seen. This will depend on tomorrow's results but also whether the results of today's “final” will remain unchanged. Because the leaders realized just a little later that the finishing jump behind which the knocked out Valentin Guillod lay was not allowed to be jumped.
