Raivo Dankers to Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing!
Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing has entered into an agreement with youth talent Raivo Dankers. The collaboration between Raivo and Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing is combined with the CTO program of the KNMV, of which Raivo is a part.
Team owner Wim Hutten is happy with the agreement between the team and Raivo Dankers. ''Raivo is a very talented rider and I am delighted that he has chosen our team. With the arrival of Raivo, our line-up for 2019 is complete. We envision a long-term collaboration.”
Dankers will make the switch from the 125cc class to the MX2 and will do this on the powerful Yamaha YZ250F. Dankers will start in 2019 in the Dutch Masters of Motocross 250cc and the EMX250 championship. If the level allows it, he will probably also participate in a number of Grand Prix MX2 races to gain experience.
''In close consultation with the KNMV, we have developed a very structured program for Raivo with which he can grow step by step to a higher level. With the right approach he can go far and with the good support from Yamaha and our other team sponsors we can provide him with the right equipment so that he will lack nothing to chase his dreams," says sporting manager of Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Herjan Brakke.
In November Raivo will complete its first tests on the Yamaha YZ 250F!
