Kay De Wolf switches to JM Racing.
We will have to wait a little longer for the official press release. Yet vice world champion 85cc Kay De Wolf does indeed exchange Beursfoon KTM for JM Racing, the Husqvarna factory team of Jacky Martens. Just like Liam Everts, 14-year-old De Wolf will make his debut in the EMX125 next year. Yesterday Kay was already working on the Husqvarna TC125.
De Wolf is considered a great talent. In addition to his silver medal in the Junior World Championship, the Eersel driver came second in the European Championship 85cc. In his own country he won both the Dutch Masters of Motocross and the ONK. Photographer Niek Kamper captured Kay yesterday in Hapert on his new motorcycle. Check out the photos here!

Comments Kay de Wolf: “For me this is a dream come true. I have always looked up to the Husqvarna factory team and now I can work with these professional people myself. I had a great season in 2018, winning two titles in the Netherlands and finishing second in both the European and World Championships. I would like to thank the entire Beursfoon KTM team for everything they have done for me over the past two seasons. They gave me the opportunity to perform at a high level and I am very grateful to them for that. Now it's time for a new chapter in my career and I will do whatever it takes to get better step by step. I have a great group of people behind me and together with them I want to have a great period in my career with hopefully many successes."
Kay's winter period will mainly be devoted to preparation. As it stands now, the first major competition in the 125cc class is scheduled for February 2019.
