Wietse Brackman scores double in MCLB Lichtervelde
One week before the big showdown in the championship in the Inters MX1 category, the two fighters Kevin Fors and Wietse Brackman were already split up. One week before the final championship race in Pamel, Kevin Fors chose to participate in the FMB-BMB race in Orp-Le-Grand while Wietse Brackman in the MCLB federation came to complete his laps after a weekend of jet ski fun.
While Kevin Fors made a strong impression among some Grand Prix pilots in Orp. It was Wietse Brackman who also held a strong dress rehearsal in Lichtervelde, and thus gained confidence to defend his mere six points lead in the final round of the championship in Pamel. The Leon Sagaert Husqvarna pilot managed to dominate both heats from lead to finish this weekend. In both series it was David Segers and Maarten Govaert who finished second and third, after Wacko Bracko.
In the MX2 class we saw that Jurgen Wybo is slowly but surely getting back to his old self after his broken hand. Nice for him and his fans because this way Woby will be able to end his motocross career in a nice way. If all goes well, this will even include the MCLB BK Inters MX2 title, for which he still has to collect about 10 points next week. This weekend he won the MX2 class again, as we are used to from him, ahead of Mattis Meersschout and upcoming youth pilot Henson Lievens. The Inters B was again a challenge for Waaslander Michiel Vercauteren.
